Our primary program is an eight-week instructional golf clinic held each Spring. This clinic is designed for beginning/novice golfers. Participants who meet attendance requirements are eligible to receive a custom-fit set of Taylor-Made golf clubs. Space is limited to 12 golfers in the eight week clinic. A selection process from program registrants will be made several weeks prior to the clinic. Registration in our program does not assure the applicant a spot in our clinic.
Throughout the year, we occasionally host golfing outings for NTWGA registered warrior golfers. We also receive numerous invitations for NTWGA warrior golfers to participate (free-of-charge) in corporate/charity golfing events. We coordinate participation in these external events.
Who Can Participate?
Any North Texas veteran with post 9-11 service and a service-related disability such as TBI, PTSD, Amputations, Visual Impairment, Spinal Cord Injury, Burns, Muscle and Nerve Damage.
We must limit the number of participants in our clinics to 15 warriors.
Participation in external events is limited to the number of slots offered to NTWGA by the host.
